Your trial is designed to be a genuine decision window. If SquareBond isn't the right fit right now, cancelling takes one click from your dashboard and takes effect immediately.
How to cancel
- Go to your Dashboard.
- Locate the Subscription panel — it shows your trial countdown.
- Click Cancel trial.
- Confirm in the dialog that appears.
That's it. No form to fill out, no email to send.
What happens the moment you cancel
Cancellation is immediate — not scheduled for period end like a paid plan. When you confirm:
- Your Stripe trial subscription is cancelled on the spot.
- Your QR code is deactivated and returned to the general catalog — it's no longer associated with your account.
- The dynamic link that was assigned to your code is reset. Any printed or digital materials pointing to that link will no longer redirect to your destination.
- Your account remains open. Your profile, preferences, and history are retained per our Privacy Policy.
No charge is made. Your card on file is never billed if you cancel before Day 8.
What you keep
Even after cancelling your trial, you keep:
- Your SquareBond account and login credentials.
- Any scan data accumulated during the trial (visible in your analytics history).
- The ability to start a new paid subscription if you return — at the standard plan price.
Note: Because a trial can only be used once per account, restarting on the same account is not possible. A new paid subscription begins at the Starter plan.
Frequently asked questions
Will I be charged anything if I cancel?
No. Cancelling before Day 8 results in zero charge. Your card was saved for if you chose to continue — since you didn't, nothing is billed.
I printed the QR code — what happens to it?
Once a trial is cancelled, the dynamic link resets. Anyone scanning that printed code will be redirected to squarebond.com rather than your configured destination. If you'd like to keep the code active, consider upgrading to a paid plan before cancelling.
Can I restart a trial later?
Trials are a one-time benefit per account. If you'd like to continue after cancelling, you can subscribe to the Starter plan at any time. Our team is happy to help if you're unsure which plan fits your portfolio — contact support.
I cancelled by accident. Can I undo it?
Trial cancellations are immediate and cannot be reversed. If this happened in error, reach out to our support team and we'll do our best to help.
