1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. SquareBond uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively "cookies") to deliver, secure, and improve the Service.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
| Category | Required? | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Always on | Authentication sessions, security tokens, and core platform functionality. Cannot be disabled. |
| Functional | On by default | Remembering your preferences (e.g., language, billing interval, pricing toggle state) to improve your experience. |
| Analytics | Consent required | Understanding how the platform is used — page views, feature usage, session duration — to improve the product. Data is aggregated and anonymised. |
| Marketing | Off by default | Advertising and retargeting. SquareBond does not currently serve third-party advertising. This category is reserved for future use with explicit opt-in. |

sb-refresh-token

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
For cookies requiring consent, you can manage your preferences via our cookie banner when you first visit the Service. You can also update your preferences at any time from your account settings.
Additionally, you can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using core features of the Service, including logging in.
For more information about managing cookies in your browser, visit allaboutcookies.org.
5. QR Code Scan Tracking
When someone scans a SquareBond QR code, our short-link infrastructure records analytics data on behalf of the account holder. This data includes: approximate geolocation (country/city level), device type, referrer, and scan timestamp. The raw IP address is processed transiently for geo-derivation and is not retained.
SquareBond does not build cross-site scanner profiles, does not enrich scan data with third-party identifiers, and does not use scan data for behavioural advertising or retargeting. Scan analytics exist solely to measure campaign performance for the account holder. Detailed retention windows, lawful basis, and joint-controllership arrangements are set out in our Privacy Policy §2.2 .
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services integrated with SquareBond may place their own cookies. These are governed by the respective providers' privacy policies:
Destination-cookie disclaimer. When a SquareBond QR code or short link redirects to a third-party destination, cookies, scripts, and trackers set by that destination are not within SquareBond's control and are not subject to this Cookie Policy. The account holder who configured the destination is responsible for the cookie and consent regime of their own destination page. SquareBond's role ends at the redirect.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
